I recently saw a symposium of arrested and harrased speakers from the recent G 8/20 protests; totally support these people but their ignorance of the law was shocking!! 99% of their problems imho were caused by their ignorance of the law: You have a right to reamin silent BEFORE and after arrest, you DO NOT have to show ID if you are just walking, EVER; the cops have every right to lie, etc etc. 'They' don't want you to know your rights; don't believe anything you heard on 'Law and Order' tv show, read your laws in the original statutes, read your local constitution etc.
